> This project is currently undergoing a rewrite in Swift for all of the MacOS and iOS applications. As soon as I get a job and can afford an Apple developer license I'll be able to release an application for both platforms with support for first-party Apple features like that sweet, sweet Apple pencil and PencilKit. The project is written primarily in JavaScript, distributed under the Other license, first published in 2025. Key topics include: academic, bibliography, equations, markdown, mdx.

This project is currently undergoing a rewrite in Swift for all of the MacOS and iOS applications. As soon as I get a job and can afford an Apple developer license I'll be able to release an application for both platforms with support for first-party Apple features like that sweet, sweet Apple pencil and PencilKit.

I'm Sorry

If you're interested in an unfortunately paid mdx based application for Mac and Apple, follow the other repository. The app is far, far more capable than the current state of Fluster, with complete intellisense, autocomplete, in-content docs similar to Jupyter, and a whole lot more. I'm sorry for giving up on open source software, but I'm still in a homeless shelter, and the donation route isn't even paying enough to get an Apple developer license at $100/year.

For Linux Users

There's currently an ongoing issue with some Linux distributions and Wayland. As I work on a mac, I'm largely relying on information from other users to figure out what works and what doesn't. Until I get this issue resolved, please checkout this post and let us know what does and doesn't work for your setup. Since I'm not working in a Linux environment, the more information I can gather from other users the quicker I can get this issue resolved.
